QUITO, ECUADOR - MARCH- 08- 2022. Ecuadorian feminism is demanding its right to abortion for rape and against sexist violence from the State, from President Guillermo Lasso from the Opus Dei line and from groups of assembly members from the Pachakutik line, who have joined in favor of the proposal of Lasso. These two women have been present at the women's march in Ecuador during 8M, International Women's Day. The women participating in different organizations and groups have also denounced the attack by the Police with batons and tear gas in Quito and Guayaquil. The peaceful demonstrations and marches were violently interrupted by the police force. ChakanaNews
