The oil exploitation in the Ecuadorian Amazon zone left several environmental and health damages in the peasant populations and in the indigenous peoples and nationalities, especially the Cofanes, Secoyas, Kichwas, Waoranis peoples and in the territories of uncontacted peoples such as the Tagaeris and Taromenanes.
