MADRID, SPAIN - MARCH 8: Josefina Martínez feminist activist declares why she was surrounded by the Spanish police. Women demonstrate in Madrid on 8M International Women's Day in the streets of the center of the capital, despite the prohibitions on the right to demonstrate and the police presence. Among the demands of the feminist movement in these times of pandemic, is that the social and economic crisis triggered by the coronavirus pandemic has widened social differences and the wage gap between men and women. The Covid-19 crisis has shown that women are essential, in the areas of health, care, being in the front line, a large number of women, many migrants.
