MADRID, FEBRUARY 7. The presidential elections of Ecuador 2021 takes place today, Sunday, February 7, in the first round also in Madrid. They have taken place in the Pabellón de Cristal of the Casa de Campo, with 66,780 people registered in Madrid. 179,614 Ecuadorians residing in Spain are called to vote. This number represents almost half of the people in Ecuador authorized to vote abroad. The candidates with the most options to go to the second round are three: Andrés Arauz, Guillermo Lasso and Yaku Pérez.
