MADRID, APRIL, 11, 2021. A guard measures the temperature of Ecuadorian voters to verify that they are not infected by COVID-19. The second round of the presidential elections in Ecuador takes place today, April 11, 2021. In Madrid, voting began at 9:00 am in the Pabellón de Cristal of Casa de Campo. The candidates among whom the vote is settled are Andrés Arauz, from the UNES party and a disciple of former president Rafael Correa and the banker Guillermo Lasso, representative of the conservative wing. Neither of them has presented a relevant proposal in their campaign. In Spain there are 179,614 citizens authorized to vote and in Madrid, 66,790, according to the registration data of the National Electoral Council.
