COTACACHI, ECUADOR - JUNE 25: A group of indigenous rest after taking the square at the Inti Raymi party. The indigenous communities of the Cotacachi area in Imbabura, Ecuador celebrate since ancient times, the Inti Raymi, the Hatun Puncha, which symbolizes their gratitude to the sun and the Pachamama, for fertility and for the harvests. For a week, indigenous people from different communities "take the square" of Cotacachi, walking from the hills that surround the town, with dances that are accompanied by a harmonious and ancestral rhythm.
